Just a Few More Weeks

We have been and are still on pins and needles waiting to get Adi to see the specialist to be sure everything is okay but we will still have to wait a few weeks. We have appointments scheduled for a Pediatric (sleep deprived) EEG on Tuesday, October 2nd and an appointment to see a Pediatric Neurologist on Friday, October 5th. We are so grateful to have the UW Children's Hospital so close to home as they are one of THE best Children's Hospitals in the Country/World! We will be seeing Dr. Lucyna Zawadzki (http://www.uwhealth.org/findadoctor/profile/lucyna-z-zawadzki-md/8578) whom I know is going to give us good news!

Please keep Adi in your prayers as this is all very scary for her! But, I am so proud of her...between the EMT, Sheriff's, Fireman, Nurses and Doctors, she was a TROOPER and I know she will be through this as well!

Some of you may ask what the sleep deprived EEG consists of...we are to put her to bed 2 hours late and wake her up 2 hours early. So, all in all, it shouldnt be too bad! I chose the afternoon appointment so we dont have to wake her at 2 a.m. rather than 4 or 5 a.m. She will do just fine!
