Ryleigh had her 2 month well baby check today and she did awesome! Had a little moment with the 3 shots but perked right back up and was smiling again! We have a total opposite baby this time! Adi was/is always high percentage for height and was/is always low for weight! Well, Miss Ryleigh is taking after her mommy. High in the weight and low in the height!
Weight - 12 pounds 1 ounce (70th percentile)
Height - 22 1/2 inches (40th percentile)
Head Circumference - 15" (30th percentile)
Everything is going very well. She is doing so much better on the soy formula than she did on breastmilk or any other formula we tried. She is having a bit of an issue with reflux which we were told is very common in premature babies because their tummies aren't quite ready yet. The medication seems to be helping but now to get her to want to sleep on her back. She sleeps wonderful on her tummy when we do tummy time and she sleeps great on her sides too so for now we put her to bed on her side and after she is sleeping good, we scootch her onto her back.
Her sleeping patterns are getting pretty good at night. She goes down about 8 p.m. and is usually up between 2:30 and 3a.m. for a bottle and then I wake her around 6:15a.m. to get her ready for the day since I went back to work yesterday which went very good for myself and for Ryleigh. She made it at the office with me until about 3 p.m. and then she had enough!
Here is our beautiful baby girl! We think she is going to be the big little sister!
