June/July

I have been having some real troubles with my blog again! Sorry for the long delay in posting! June was  a great month of fun things! Father's Day weekend I "made" daddy have "Daddy & Me" photos done with the girls! They turned out great and the girls are going to ADORE these photos when they get older! I know I will cherish them forever. There is nothing more special and sweet than a daddy with his children.

The following weekend we were lucky to get to make a trip to Viroqua to visit our wonderful friends, the Young family! Our visits are always too far apart but we cherish the time we do get to spend with this wonderful, loving family. We are so lucky to call them friends! Their kiddos are getting so big and our girls love to see them.

June 24, 2013 we had another follow up appointment with Adi's pediatric neurologist, Dr. Zawadski. I was very nervous for this appointment because we had noticed Adi having some odd behavior again. I was so nervous we were going to be put through more testing like MRI's, EEG's, etc. However, after our visit, we decided we will up Adi's medication dosage due to her growing and also start to give her Melatonin. Dr. Z believes that Adi's lack of rest is causing her "spells", which makes sense. We were going through a tough spell of her not wanting to go to bed at night and then I had to wake her at 6:30a.m. so she was only getting 6-8 hours of sleep which is not enough for her. She has been on the new dosage now for almost a month and we have not noticed any spells. Thank God!

June 30th we had Ry's FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!! It was so great to have so many friends and family come to celebrate our baby girl! She most certainly is a special little girl!

Lots of giggles with her very own smash cake!

 Mmm...mmm...mmm!!!
Love you to the moon and back smiley!

She got to have a celebration at daycare on her birthday too!!!

Fourth of July was a hoot too! We went to watch Uncle Aaron (Airnin to the girls!) pull tractors! The girls thought that was a blast! At the end of the pulls, we stayed to watch the fireworks which was extra fun for all of us too. It was a late night and the girls were out like lights as soon as the car started moving.

July 5th we worked half days and then Nick and I headed to Canada for a week of rest, relaxation and just some good ol mommy and daddy time. We had a BLAST but, I had a pretty hard time being away from the girls for that long. I cried alot when we left them and then when I did FaceTime with them I cried too, but, only the first two times. By Tuesday I was a pro but by Wednesday night, Thursday morning, I was ready to go home to my babies. Nick would have chose to stay over Saturday night and head home sunday morning but I made him drive straight through so we were home when the girls woke up Sunday morning and boy am I glad we did that! Adi giggled her head off and I thought Ry would hyperventilate she was so excited! It was a much needed vacation for all of us! Cant wait for the girls to go with us to experience the joys of Canada. We love it there!

We met some WONDERFUL families while we were there! Hard to believe one of the families is from Blue Mounds, another from Mount Horeb and the other from Glidden! What a small wonderful world.
My big fish of the week...he/she was a HOG and was about 37(ish)"
Camp is wonderful and will be so fun for the girls next year!
 Home for a week! Ahhhh...

Until next time, I think this weekend is going to be pretty quiet but now that I said that it will turn into a crazy weekend.
