Wow I have been away for awhile! Life has been busy and fun! Here is a breakdown of some of the things that have happened the last month and a half or so...
February was a month of starting a big change in my life...I really started hitting the gym hard! I have not seen the fruits of my labor quite yet because 2 weeks in a row I had to skip due to the girls being sick and then myself getting sick! But, this morning, I am feeling the burn, so to the gym tonight!
Nick and I got a weekend away February 9th & 10th to go up North to Bob & Tanya's cabin to take our first snowmobile ride of the season. It was nice! However, I wasnt all too happy to be leaving the girls. They, of course, did great without us!
Ryleigh has still been going to work with me three days a week which has been wonderful, but the dreaded daycare time is very very near. Monday, March 18th marks the day she gets some separation from her mommy! I know she will do great and I am determined that I will do great as well. No tears this time around (well, maybe a few on my way to work).
February 16th myself and Melissa took Adi to the Zor Shrine circus, thanks to our great friends Luke & Steph for giving us 4 reserved seats! Needless to say, Miss Adi did SO wonderful! Even sat on a step with a clown and had her picture taken! When the man was shot out of his canon, she said again mommy, again! I am pretty certain this will be a yearly event in the Thompson house.
March 2nd, Nick and I headed out on the town for our friend Luke's 30th Birthday party! We had a BLAST! It is nice to just "let loose" sometimes!
March 9th & 10th we again headed North for another great weekend of riding! I have to tell you that I dont know what we would do without Melissa and Aaron for helping us out so much! The girls love their visits with them and we love getting some time away.
March 111th was a big day...Ryleigh finally popped her first tooth! She has been working on that tooth for months now! Poor girl. I feel so bad for babies when they are teething.
March 13th was yet another big day for us...Adi went to her very first dentist visit! She did AMAZING! I was so proud of her. She was playing with the nurses and talking to them. It was very precious to see. The appointment that should have lasted 10 minutes or so ended up lasting about an hour because the nurses and Dr. Allison were having way too much fun with her! I am so glad her first trip to the dentist was such a great experience. She now has decided that the nice spin brush she just got last week is not nearly as good as Dr. Allison's toothbrush! Brush away little girl to your hearts desire!
When I get a chance I will post Ryleigh's 8 month pictures as well as Adi's dentist experience!
