January is a great month to get outside and play...well, when its not -30 degrees out! But, as I always say, we are an outdoors kind of family. Fresh air wipes my kids out and I am all for wearing them down! It makes for a good movie night and quick bed time!
Adi is our little ballet dancer! Every quarter we have a "watch night" where we get to invite 2 other members of our family/friends to visit to watch her dance. Grandma and Grandpa Thompson got to visit her in January. For some reason I had a mommy fail this night and attempted to use a new hair piece for her bun...well, it lasted a whole 2 minutes, so, we got to see her LONG, GORGEOUS hair flowing as she danced. She is so used to dealing with it it didnt even phase her. She LOVES her dance class too! So, it looks like I will continue to be a "dance mom" for another year anyway! Next year she will be in the spring recital so I am excited about that!
While I work, grandma and granpa Robson kept the girls for me and as you can see, it looks like they have lots and lots of fun in their new bathroom and BIG tub!!! My girls are so lucky to have such fun grandma and grandpa!
THIS JUST MELTS MY HEART! Ryleigh's FAVORITE book is "Goodnight Bear" and Adi knows it by heart so she reads it to Ry! LOVE LOVE LOVE <3
Daddy let Adi drink her own cup of hot chocolate in the shed with him while watching a Packer game! It would be a better picture if it werent for the Packers, BUT she is so beautiful she can pull anything off! :)
SLEEP OVER!!!!!!!!!!! Adi and Ry adore their BFF Emma! Love when Emma gets to read books to the girls at night! Adi tries to sucker her into extra books but I have to lay the law down and limit to 3 unless they are short, then she gets 4! :)
Snowmobiling is our passion and we hope to get the girls into loving it too so we can do this as a family! Its a great winter activity to get us outside ALL day! As of now, the girls LOVE it! So hopefully that continues.
Adi's first theater movie...FROZEN! I am so glad I went with her...it is not only a great movie for kids but it was a GREAT movie for me too! She did so good! Ate snacks, sat through the entire movie laughing and did NOT move! It was fantastic! Thanks Jess & Emma for having us go with you! What a great memory to cherish always. I remember my first theater movie with my Aunt Maureen and it was to see the Little Mermaid and I will never forget it so I hope this sticks in Adi's memory forever too! <3
