Snow Fun!

January is a great month to get outside and play...well, when its not -30 degrees out! But, as I always say, we are an outdoors kind of family. Fresh air wipes my kids out and I am all for wearing them down! It makes for a good movie night and quick bed time!

Adi is our little ballet dancer! Every quarter we have a "watch night" where we get to invite 2 other members of our family/friends to visit to watch her dance. Grandma and Grandpa Thompson got to visit her in January. For some reason I had a mommy fail this night and attempted to use a new hair piece for her bun...well, it lasted a whole 2 minutes, so, we got to see her LONG, GORGEOUS hair flowing as she danced. She is so used to dealing with it it didnt even phase her. She LOVES her dance class too! So, it looks like I will continue to be a "dance mom" for another year anyway! Next year she will be in the spring recital so I am excited about that!

While I work, grandma and granpa Robson kept the girls for me and as you can see, it looks like they have lots and lots of fun in their new bathroom and BIG tub!!! My girls are so lucky to have such fun grandma and grandpa!

THIS JUST MELTS MY HEART! Ryleigh's FAVORITE book is "Goodnight Bear" and Adi knows it by heart so she reads it to Ry! LOVE LOVE LOVE <3
Daddy let Adi drink her own cup of hot chocolate in the shed with him while watching a Packer game! It would be a better picture if it werent for the Packers, BUT she is so beautiful she can pull anything off! :)

SLEEP OVER!!!!!!!!!!! Adi and Ry adore their BFF Emma! Love when Emma gets to read books to the girls at night! Adi tries to sucker her into extra books but I have to lay the law down and limit to 3 unless they are short, then she gets 4! :)

Snowmobiling is our passion and we hope to get the girls into loving it too so we can do this as a family! Its a great winter activity to get us outside ALL day! As of now, the girls LOVE it! So hopefully that continues.

Adi's first theater movie...FROZEN! I am so glad I went with her...it is not only a great movie for kids but it was a GREAT movie for me too! She did so good! Ate snacks, sat through the entire movie laughing and did NOT move! It was fantastic! Thanks Jess & Emma for having us go with you! What a great memory to cherish always. I remember my first theater movie with my Aunt Maureen and it was to see the Little Mermaid and I will never forget it so I hope this sticks in Adi's memory forever too! <3

December 2013

I know, I know!!!!! It has been WAY too long since I have blogged and I have some followers who have scolded me! Here it is...I am going to play catch up today and tomorrow, so hold on tight. I have a lot to say about my little family! So here goes

December 2013...It seems like yesterday I was so excited for winter to be here and the holiday season upon us. Adi was especially fun this year as she was amazed by Santa.  For the first time we visited the Santa Express with our closest friends Ben, Jessica and Emma. The girls adore them and it was an all around fun time.

Sledding...we are raising our girls to be total outdoor girls. Yes, of course with the cold weather we had beginning in November we werent outside as much as we wanted, BUT, at least the enjoy it! They LOVE to sled so since there was not enough snow we got to play with our sleds in the shed at least!

December marked the big 30 in my books...it was a great time. A surprise birthday party, great fun watching football and more fun to follow at work! 30 doesnt really bother me...I am married, have 2 beautiful girls and we have a beautiful life...not always roses, but we get through hard times and that is what life is all about!

Christmas...I LOVE the season of love and giving. There is nothing more special than to see the look on any childs face when they see the magic of Christmas unfold...I will cherish these days always and forever!

Cookies for Santa, my beautiful babies in their Christmas dresses and opening gifts. I love setting all this up for them to be so excited to wake up in the morning and then getting all matched up for church and family! What an amazingly blessed life we live. We may not go to church every week but God is definitely present in our house and we can see and feel His love!!!!
