7 Months!

7 Months! WOW! Time flies when you have 2 little girls occupying your time! But, there is nothing I would rather have taking up my time...except maybe sleep! The last 2 months have been full of alot of sickness and thankfully we all seem to be mending! 

Ryleigh is a ball of fun these days! We have little miss personality on our hands! When she wants something she wants it NOW and there is nothing that is going to get in her way! She is a great eater and sleeper! I must say we have been blessed with good sleepers, except on "special" occasions! Ryleigh is a much better eater than Adi ever was so that makes life a little bit easier! I attempted to give Ryleigh some mashed potatoes and that is the only thing she has gagged/thrown up on so we are sticking to baby foods still! I did give her a taste test of some ice cream and that was a BIG hit! (but, who doesnt like ice cream, right!?!)

She is rolling and has been doing that now for awhile but she really hates being on her tummy! Seems odd since when she was 1-3 months old, she LOVED sleeping on her tummy! It seems as though the reflux is beginning to get under control which is wonderful because we would really love to get her switched off of soy formula and off her meds two times/day! She can sit up but tends to throw herself backward, so we are still working on that trick!

LIFE IS GOOD!

Fun

December and January have been so busy and fun! I know I am a bit late on some of the pictures but, we were having so much fun I wanted to still share with everyone some of the things we have been doing/working on!

 We bundled up and headed out to play in the deep snow~Adi was so excited!

 Gretta had as much fun, if not more fun than Adi and Nick!!!

 We can finally put the girls in the tub together! Bathtime goes much smoother now!

 We got to have a fun visit from our great friends, Ben, Jess & Emma which was long overdue!

Adi has been doing a GREAT job with potty training! So, her incentive to go poopy on the potty was getting new minnie mouse undies! She was/is so proud of her new undies because she has been looking at these minnies sitting on the kitchen counter for 2 months and she FINALLY did it! So very proud of her!

I have been really bad at posting and updating the blog...but I want to start getting better at updating!

6 Month Well Baby Check

Yesterday was Ryleigh's 6 Month check! SIX MONTH CHECK! It doesnt seem possible that our little girl is already 6 months! Alot has happened since my last post but we have been battling sickness like the rest of the country, so it seems!

Ryleigh is quite the eater! She is polar opposite of her big sister. She is drinking about 5-6 ounces at a time and eating all kinds of food now. Fruits, veggies, rice, oatmeal and even drinking juice from time to time but that is mainly to assist in going potty. She of course is rolling but has figured out that if she rolls to her tummy she gets angry so she mainly rolls to her side now and back.

Her stats...

Weight: 17 pounds 4 ounces (66th%)
Height: 27.5 inches (92th%) - This was a shock...she has grown 3.5 inches in 2 months!
Head: 17.25 (79th%)

She is really starting to get into her big sister. At times you can just see in her eyes that she just wants to RUN! Wont be long little girl and you will be chasing sister all over the place!

No shots for Ryleigh yesterday as she had a fever and has a cold so we will go back hopefully next week and get her all caught up!
