New Home, New Life, Blessed

It has been a very long time...rightfully so! As of December 12, 2015 we officially picked up our family and moved to our new home, our new life, fulfilling dreams!  Sayner, Wisconsin is the place we now call home and it has been hectic but amazing so far!  This dream of ours started about 5 years ago. We didnt know it would happen this soon, we thought it would be closer to when the girls graduated high school. However, an opportunity arose and we just couldnt pass it up. Nick sold his territory by Madison and bought a new territory in Minocqua, Tomahawk, Lac Du Flambeau, Park Falls and Phillips! We jumped at the chance. While there were HUGE road blocks we had to overcome, we had kept everything quiet from friends and family as we didnt want to upset them with the idea of us all moving until it was set in stone and it was for sure going to happen.

Nick began his new job in early October and did ALOT of travelling back and forth. Originally the girls and I were going to stay in Blue Mounds until our house sold but after a month and a half, it was very obvious that we were putting the girls through way more stress than needed with being away from their daddy, their world. So, another huge decision, I "quit" my full time job with Pridham. It was the best decision for us and it has totally paid off. Pridham was fantastic and allowed me to work from home in Sayner part time.

We moved into our new home on December 12, 2015. I dont have any pictures to share with you, but, I will have some after we get some decorations and maybe some curtains on the windows!

Fast forward a couple months, I saw an add for a part-time appointment coordinator at Marshfield Clinic, Minocqua. So, I applied. I received an interview but was told by the HR department that they believe I was much more suited for an Administrative Assistant position they had available. I applied and got offered the job. I wasnt planning on working full time but when opportunity knocks, you answer. SO, I am now employed with Marshfield Clinic which I can see taking me amazing places in my future. It's great for me AND our family.

Rewind...Adi started at her new school St. Germain Elementary School December 15, 2015. She LOVES it. St. Germain is part of the Northland Pines School District which has multiple elementary schools...St. Germain, Eagle River and Land O Lakes. They all combine in Middle School which is located in Eagle River. This is where the high school is located as well. Their opportunities are endless and we, as a family, have made the perfect decision for us.

We have received an Offer on our house in Blue Mounds and have accepted so we are hoping end of April, early May will bring new challenges and joy!

Off to School!!!

It was a BIG day for us September 1, 2015...ADI STARTED 4K! Wait...WHAT? Our baby girl started school? How did that happen? She was so very excited and did AWESOME from morning to night and the big adjustment of all the hustle and bustle of the morning routine!

I thought it would be a great tradition to start every school year, especially elementary, by having them fill in the blank of "when I grow up I want to be...." This year Adi knew right away what she wanted to be and did not hesitate when I asked her to fill in the blank. "When I grow up I want to be a doctor who fixes kids" was her response! So, I asked her why? Her immediate response was..."because they fixed me mommy" Now if that doesnt pull at the heartstrings, I dont know what would! :)

Miss Ryleigh was so very excited for her big sister, but asked many times throughout the morning where her sissy is and when she would be home!

She jumped on the bus like a pro and was SO very happy to tell me that she did NOT have to wear a seatbelt or be in a carseat! There will come a day when mom has to give up the 5-point harness but for now, she's being buckled as tight as possible!

She was ready for lunch by the time she got off the bus at 12:25. Hopefully she will be back to daycare by about noon so she isnt quite so hungry!

Next year it's Ry Ry!

Healthy

Yesterday, June 30, 2015, Miss Ryleigh Jean attended her 3 year well baby checkup. She usually goes to her pediatrician with her daddy because he has Wednesday off work but this time I wanted to take her because the girls' pediatrician is retiring. We are very sad about this news, but we love our clinic and know we will find someone great! Anyway, our nurse, Autumn was STUNNED with Ryleigh's behavior. She said, now this is not the little girl I am used to seeing! Yea, that is because MOMMY is here and not daddy I told her. We couldnt get weight, height, temp, blood pressure, nothing because Ry decided it would be great to throw a complete and udder temper tantrum the ENTIRE visit! Good news is, mommy was very persistent and forced all of these things.

Weight: 29.2 pounds (34%)
Height: 37.2" (54%)

The newest word is we have a very animated and persistent 3 year old! We didnt really need to be told this but at least we arent crazy when we call her our wild child!

Love you to the moon and back little princess! You are an amazing little girl and keep us on our toes, which is a good thing! Just remember this persistence with your calculus class in high school! :)

THREE!!!!!!!

Our baby girl is 3!!! This one is our little firecracker and I dont say that lightly! She knows what she wants and she stops at nothing to get it. I suppose this is a good AND bad thing. As long as she is independent and strong, we are happy. She is such a little snuggle bug. Any time of any day she is right there to give hugs and kisses and we LOVE that about her. She is sweet, she knows when to say she's sorry and she knows how to push her big sister's buttons. Mom and dad's too! :)  Our little Ryleigh Jean is one of a kind and so very special. We love you to the moon and back "little button"! Happy THIRD birthday to you, beautiful!

Summer Ending

Now that Ryleigh has her own big girl bed the girls love reading stories on the floor with daddy. Ryleigh has decided that she will NOT go to bed nicely if mommy puts her to bed so she gets daddy every night. After we read story in Ryleigh's room, mommy and Adi head to her room for some good mommy snuggle story time. Bedtime is such a fun time. I love the time when the girls are winding down for the day and are rubbing their eyes. This will go so fast and I truly try to take in the moments as I know what will come one day!

We took the girls berry picking...my knee is not forgiving on hills, so I watch and take photos. We took ZERO berries home because the girls ate them ALL!!!
Festival of the Mounds is always a fun time for us. Adi especially loves it and being in the parade with Donna and all of her cheerleaders. She truly is a lucky girl. We MAY have Friday night football games in our future!

Eugster's in Oregon is a favorite of the girls. Milking the cow by far takes the cake for the girls. They think that is the coolest thing EVER! Of course, we could stay and fee the baby goats all day too!

The Life of July

July we decided to take advantage of our amazing photography friends talent (studio4photography) and boy did she catch our family at our best and most silly! These moments of our girls being this little will not last forever and I would have pictures taken monthly if we could!

July was our annual "fishing" trip to Canada! We headed up with Jon and Andrea which was a great treat! They are a bit more die hard fisherman than we are, we tend to go for the social vacation as well! HA! It worked out great and I like to think that we have made lifelong friendships in the families we have met! The girls did not go with us this year, but we hare hoping next year it works! Ryleigh was a bit too small still at this point this year and I dont think its fair to take a family trip with one kid and not the other, SO lets hope next year works out!!!!

When we returned from Canada, Olbrich Gardens had their butterfly display open so Jessica asked to take the kiddos with them. Of course the girls were over the moon and spend the night with their BFF, Emma. I love these 3 girls!
July also brought some change to Miss Ryleigh's world. She was having some major issues in her crib SO, we decided to put her in a big girl bed. Well, that didnt work so hot, she just wanted to sleep in her rocking chair that was given to us by Nana before she passed away. I think Nana may have a beautiful hum for Miss Ry and she feels most comfortable in her chair. However, sleeping in the chair was causing her to not get a good night sleep so we decided we had to take the chair out of her room. :( She was not a happy camper but has learned to sleep in her bed so it's a win for us all.

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY PRINCESS!

From her first moments of life, our little Ryleigh Jean as been a spit fire. She came a full month early and has not slowed down. She keeps her sister on her toes and keeps us on our toes every second of every day and we wouldn't have it any other way. Well, maybe to share some of that energy she has so we can try to keep up! She is such a snuggle bug, a momma's girl and an all around good kid. She's shy at first but once she opens the gates, look out!!! We love you to the moon and back a million times over baby girls!
She is so proud to have moved up to a big girl bike, as you can tell by the cheese smile!

The picture below is the perfect picture of my Ry...she is so sweet and shy at times, yet when she is mad, the world better look out! Happy second year of life my girl...cant wait to see ow that 3rd year unravels! Love You!
